Clearly, the effects of the weather are not guided or altered by any meteorological agency or their computers and computer programs.
The aftermath of Typhoon Morakot is dreadful and passing the buck is neither necessary nor productive during the clean-up phase of this disaster.
It seems likely that meteorologists are doing their best. Finding fault with what the weather bureau did or didn’t do detracts from the focus on rebuilding lives and repairing the damage wrought by Morakot.
