Editorial: Shadows in the sunshine

To establish a clean system of politics and a culture of accountability, Taiwan must undergo the pain of reform. The defects of the eight-year-old sunshine law must be fixed. Corrupt officials have been able to hide in the shadows for far too long -- and Taiwan is the worse for it.
