Scholars protest the detention of Li Shaomin

We strongly oppose the MSS' practice of arresting people at will and hope that the Chinese government will release Li immediately, allowing him to return to Hong Kong to continue his teaching. Li is a US citizen. We strongly request that the US government take an active role in this matter, and press for Li's immediate release.
