The New Taiwan dollar yesterday continued to lose ground against its US counterpart, closing down NT$0.015 at NT$34.410 on the Taipei foreign exchange market. The turnover was US$455 million, up from the previous day's US$371 million.
The local unit, which opened at NT$34.468, traded between NT$34.385 and NT$34.479 during the session.
