Ritek Receives NT$2 Billion Bank Loan to Expand Production Taipei, Sept. 12 (Bloomberg) --
Ritek Corp said yesterday that it has received a NT$2 billion ($58 million) five-year loan from a group of banks -- including Hua Nan Commercial Bank (華南銀行), First Commercial Bank (第一銀行), China Development Financial Holding Corp (中華開發金控), and International Commercial Bank of China (中國商銀) -- to fund expanded production of parts for liquid-crystal displays.
Ritek last month forecast a NT$3.25 billion loss, dumping an earlier forecast for a profit, because of lower-than-expected demand for recordable compact discs.
