The current ban on the advertisement, sale and exhibition of mainland Chinese merchandise and real estate will be lifted, a Mainland Affairs Council official said Wednesday.
Attending a luncheon hosted by the Chinese National Federation of Industries (¤uÁ`), MAC Chairwoman Tsai Ing-wen (½²^¤å) said the council is scheduled to refer the draft revision bill to the Legislative Yuan for approval when the new legislative session opens in September. Meanwhile, multinationals and local large enterprises will be allowed to send their mainland Chinese staff to work at their Taiwan branches, affiliates or subsidiaries by the end of this year, Tsai said.
