The 2002 Taipei International Wine and Spirits Show will take place in Taipei from Thursday to Sunday, China External Trade Development Council (外貿協會) officials said yesterday. The CETRA-organized event will showcase 80 firms in 178 booths exhibiting not only spirits, Taiwan-made and imported wine, and other alcoholic drinks, although most will be displaying wine-making equipment. The show will also feature seminars on basic wine knowledge, tasting techniques and etiquette, as well as the medical and health-giving properties of wine. The four-day show will not be open to minors.
