NT dollar falls

The New Taiwan dollar yesterday fell against its US counterpart on the Taipei foreign exchange market. The unit lost NT$0.103 to close at NT$33.998. The turnover was US$530 million, up from the previous day's US$481 million. The local currency opened at the day's high of NT$34.000 and hit a low of NT$33.761 during the session.
