NT dollar gains 10 cents

The New Taiwan dollar yesterday continued to gain ground against its US counterpart at the Taipei foreign exchange market, rising NT$0.106 to close at NT$33.100. Turnover totalled US$1.55 billion, jumping from the previous day's US$455 million. The local currency opened at NT$33.210 and was traded between NT$33.065 and NT$33.220 throughout the session.
