The New Taiwan dollar yesterday turned stronger against its US counterpart at the Taipei foreign exchange market, rising NT$0.021 to close at NT$33.574. Turnover totalled US$439 million, down from the previous day's US$519 million.
The local currency opened at yesterday's high of NT$33.612 and hit a low of N$33.559.
