The New Taiwan dollar yesterday continued to lose ground against the US dollar at the Taipei foreign exchange, lowering NT$0.01 to close at NT$33.595. Turnover totalled US$519 million, compared with the previous day's US$267 million.
The local currency opened at NT$33.602 against the greenback and was traded in a range between NT$33.570 and NT$33.605.
