Chung Shing Textile Co (中興紡織), a Taiwan clothing company that posted losses in the past three years, said bank creditors agreed to extend payment on NT$15.6 billion (US$466 million) of debt for another year.
CTB Financial Holding Co (交銀金控), Bank of Taiwan (台灣銀行) and other creditor banks tentatively agreed to the delay in return for interest payments on the debt, Chung Shing spokesman Chen Chia-chiung (陳家駿) said.
The stock fell by the daily 7-percent limit to NT$1.62.
