ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE

A resident shows a handful of dead shrimps which were washed up on the “Caleta Rojas” at Coronel town, 540km southwest of Santiago, Chile, on Tuesday. The shrimps died due to pollution after water used to cool two thermoelectric plants next to the beach was discharged into the sea, the town’s residents said.Mar 21, 2013
