Port plans

The area shown in the photograph is earmarked for the construction of the new Taipei Port facility. The area, which measures 3,102 hectares, will be developed under the build-operate-transfer (BOT) model and is expected to become the nation's largest and most comprehensive container port facility and a major international distribution center.Oct 11, 2005
