A model shows a PlayStation Portable (PSP) manufactured by Sony Computer Entertainment, Sony Corp's video-game unit, at a Tokyo shop as it goes on sale yesterday for 19,800 yen (US$188), ahead of its overseas debut planned for next year. The PSP, the Tokyo-based electronics and entertainment giant's entry into the handheld video-game machines area now dominated by the Game Boy series from Japanese rival Nintendo Co, was being billed not only as a game machine but also as a mobile gadget for watching movies and listening to music files.Dec 13, 2004
