A New `Bird' Fever

A Bandai Co employee displays the newest version of the company's virtual pet toy, ``Returned Tamagotchi Plus'' in Tokyo yesterday. Bandai's new Tamagotchi, which means ``cute little egg,'' simulates the life cycle of a pet and has an infrared-ray communication function through which a virtual pet could make a friend to give gifts to, marry and have offspring.
