Ever smaller

Japanese electronics giant Matsushita Electric Industrial employee displays a miniature-sized digital video camcorder, the ''Digicam NV-GS55K,'' at the company's showroom in Tokyo yesterday. The camcorder is equipped with a 680,000-pixel CCD on its image sensor and a 2.3mm -- 23mm/F1.8 zoom lens on a 370g body. Matsushita will put it on the market on Feb. 5 for an estimated price of ?90,000 (US$840).Jan 23, 2004
