The Landis Group (亞都麗緻集團) is to focus on development of its food and beverage (F&B) unit, Liz Dining Group (亞緻餐飲), over the next few years, including sales of Boost Juice, an Australian nutritional drinks brand it recently introduced to Taiwan.
The company has just launched its first Boost Juice outlet, which is located in the underground shopping complex connected to Taipei Railway Station.
“The company aims to open 10 Boost Juice bars in three years,” Landis Group president Michelle Hsu (徐儷萍) said after the outlet’s opening ceremony.
The juice bar sold about 300 drinks a day during its trial operation period, the company said.
Sales are expected to rise 50 percent after the official opening, the company said, adding that it expects an average customer to spend NT$100 each.
The introduction of Boost Juice is part of Liz Dining’s multi-brand strategy, Hsu said. The unit also operates bakery chain Liz Gastronomie (麗緻坊), the Chinese restaurant chain Tien Hsiang Lo (天香樓) and Brasserie Liz (麗緻巴賽麗), which focuses on French cuisine.
Boost Juice has more than 339 outlets in 11 nations.
Taiwan is now its 12th market, and its first in northeast Asia.
In related news, the group on Monday to launch a two-month long celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Tien Hsiang Lo chain at the Landis Taipei Hotel Co Ltd (台北亞都麗緻大飯店), introducing a time-limited set menu that is priced from NT$1,600 to NT$2,500.
