China Airlines, EVA cancel, delay flights in wake of typhoon

China Airlines Ltd (CAL, 華航) announced yesterday that it would cancel four flights to and from the Philippines today because of the arrival of Typhoon Durian in the Philippines.

The canceled flights were CI631, CI632, CI637 and CI638, all of which were scheduled for this morning. The airline said it might also delay flights CI635 and CI636 this afternoon.

EVA Airways Corp (長榮) released a statement that flight BR271 to Manila has been postponed from 9:30am to 5pm.
