The Council of Agriculture's delegate to the exhibition gave a briefing on Taiwan's agriculture biotechnology at a seminar on Monday, saying that the council was undertaking six major projects, including orchid breeding and gene modification for animals and plants.
The projects involved several government agencies and research institutes as well as the private sector.
