Telecom expo offers look at 3G service

BATTLEFIELD The nation's top mobile service providers are ready to take each other on for the lion's share of the lucrative 3G-subscribers market, and the war starts Friday

"A total of 10 foreign telecom companies from Brazil, India, South Korea and others will place orders estimated at US$200,000 to purchase Internet-phone, networking and communications facilities during the four-day show," according to a press release issued by the co-organizer, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA, 外貿協會).
