China can learn from Taiwan

But Liu urged Taiwan's government to accelerate their Chinese counterparts' applications after China allowed seven out of 10 Taiwanese banks to set up liaison offices in China.

In response, Vice Minister of Finance Susan Chang (張秀蓮) yesterday said, "The precondition of cross-strait financial supervision should be facilitated before the issue can be addressed."
