ECCT organizing IPR, trade seminars

In related news, the chamber officially celebrates its 15th anniversary at a gala dinner in the Grand Hyatt Hotel this evening with 550 guests. President Chen Shui-bian (陳水扁) is scheduled to give a speech and a message from EU Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy will be delivered by the EU representative to Taipei, Brian McDonald.

Fifty government officials have been invited to the dinner, including Chen's top economic advisor, Vincent Siew (蕭萬長), and Taipei Mayor Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九).

The ECCT has 470 members from 270 companies and 25 nationalities.
