The project employs the master pastamakers of Corleone, who use old-fashioned bronze molds and a 40-hour drying process. The pasta comes in several forms, including spaghetti with 1m-long strands.
In the short-term, Faraone hopes his project will help change Corleone's ugly image. His long-term plan is that the town's people will be able to live from their land legally and with pride.
