Benq banks on Motorola

MOBILE PHONES The local manufacturer has gained orders because of the rising fortunes of the US-based high-tech giant

The group also revised its full-year mobile phone sales forecast to 29.6 million handsets, 129.3 percent more than Taiwan sold last year. Local manufactures stand to reap global handset sales of US$1.934 billion, more than double that of last year, according to the center.
