The group then decided that any decision to organize a trip be made at the next panel meeting if more than half the members sign up on the idea in the interim, said Stan Shih (施振榮), chairman of the panel.
The panel is scheduled to hold three more meetings, during which a consensus on cross-strait issues is hoped to be reached and passed on to the main body of the Economic Development Advisory Conference in late August.
